A few years ago the Washington Post did an experiment called Stop and Hear the Music. Perhaps you've heard of it. They took a famous classical violinist named Joshua Bell and set him up playing music in the metro.

Midweek Update: at the MBA Case Competition
As planned, here is my mid-week update. Articles Monday, miscellany on Thursday. And it's been a busy week!
I'm a lead volunteer at the John Molson School of Business MBA International Case Competition for the second year in a row, and have been kept pretty busy. Monday Update, random thoughts
I'm in the middle of the most hectic week left in my school year. Just finished one presentation, have another one Wednesday, and a paper due over the weekend. Nevertheless I'm writing. Why? I found some really interesting things that I wanted to share with everyone!
